The Royal Hotel is situated overlooking the beautiful village of Woolacombe and is an ideal base for discovering the beauty of North Devon. The beach at Woolacombe is over three miles long and is regarded as one of the finest in the UK. With surfboard & wetsuit hire available in the village you only need to take a 5 minute walk from the hotel to the beach. At the back of the hotel there is free car parking and we also have storage for surfboards or kayaks. There is a lot to do in and around Woolacombe i.e. horse riding, golf and walks with stunning views. Close by there is paintball, a shooting range, go-karts and quad biking for those who fancy an extreme sports weekend. You can enjoy an evening walk down to Woolacombe village to watch the amazing sunset views over the beach to Lundy Island. The hotel also has a large indoor heated swimming pool, bars and evening entertainment most nights.

All the facilities are open to the public so feel free to wonder in and have a drink in our bar; if you prefer enjoy a three course meal in our Lundy restaurant or an early morning full english breakfast (£12 dinner & £6 breakfast). We have entertainment on most nights till late. Other facilities available are a swimming pool, table tennis, pool tables, a full sized snooker table and arcade machines.
