The Skiach is a very comfortable luxurious 2-bedroom vacation apartment within a 19th Century Scottish mansion set in beautiful well-manicured grounds in Perthshire. We offer 2 to 7days bookings, or longer. Prices start at £440 per week.

Arthurstone House was formerly the family home of Robert Carmichael, head of the renowned Jute & Flax Mills of the Baxter Brothers, Dundee, in the 19th Century. The property has been re-modelled and added-to ever since it was built in the end of the 18th Century; and in 1990 it became the home of Butterstone School, a small independent boarding school for girls. More recently, it was developed into 15 luxury homes, of which The Skiach occupies the upper north-west corner of the Main Hall building. The house and apartment retain much of the original character as do the ornamental grounds around the house. Our guests are able enjoy the 37acres of property, and are welcomed to walk the fields and woodlands which include two tennis courts, and a curling rink (now a wonderful place for nature) with a Victorian bothy. Unfortunately our accommodation does not have wheelchair access and has a very large sweeping staircase and no lift.
