An enchanting Bed and Breakfast run by Frances Kearney, a young artist ( RCA ) who returned to Norfolk from the East End. Relaxed and aesthetic environment without pink frills or silly rules. The rooms have panoramic views overlooking Cley marshes towards Blakeney Point. Full broadband. CH and open fire. Ideal for walkers, families, bird watchers, writers, artists and sailing holidays. Non smoking. Off street parking.£85 per double, £55 single, £80 twin, children under five £10 a night in parents room or £20 per a child in twin room. £5 extra per person for single night occupancy.

A unique Bed and Breakfast. The Studio overlooking the Marshes in Cley is full of character: Traditional, contemporary & eclectic...with a mix of antiques, modern art and design - wonderful historicval marine paintings: an interesting, relaxing experience.

Outstanding location opposite marshes and nature reserve, panoramic views of the beach and Blakeney Point. Five minutes walk into pretty village with Deli, windmill, two pubs, vintage book shop, smoke house, pottery, tea shops. Ten miles from Wells, Burnham Market, Cromer, Holkham.

We are a stones throw walk from the sea for a quick dip, and the seals at Blakeney Point for those with their walking boots.

We have wireless broadband, sorry but not ensuite but two bathrooms - two double rooms and one twin. All bedding is feather and linen Egyptian cotton. (There is a single mattress + a cot for extra children. )

You are welcome to use the guests sitting room, tv, dvd, piano, open fire, children free to wander around the house & garden - breakfast in the garden if you'd like.

There are benchs & chairs at the front of the house where the evening sun sets can be watched over the marshes - a good place to sit with a glass of wine before the pub. At the back we have a little south facing walled garden, with a small lawn + table and chairs. The Studio is run by an artist so expect a B & B which is very relaxed & full of character.... no pink frills or up tight rules here.

Our house is very lived in and unprecious.... Moroccan wood stove & fire grate in garden- open fire in guests sitting room- World cinema dvd collection. Children are very welcome as our home provides more than ample space for play in the house or garden, with the cat - Mr Moss & Tortu the tortoise - we have plenty of toddlers toys and board games, crabbing lines etc for older children.

For breakfast we serve fruit, yougart, toast, full cooked breakfast, local kippers on request or vegetarian, wheat free ect, ( if mentioned on booking).... breakfast in bed on request.

If requested, simple early children's suppers and babysitting can be arranged for a fee as well as or children's breakfast & a couple of hours childcare in the morning whilst you have a lie in.
