The Swan Inn is located at the heart of the picturesque Pennine village of Dobcross in Saddleworth. This traditional village pub serves great real ale and freshly prepared homemade food. The little theatre upstairs plays host to professional theatre companies, comedy and musical events.

Built in 1765, the pub has a rich history and continues to be a focal point for village community life. The pub is placed firmly at the centre of Saddleworth's Whit Friday Brass Band Contest. The annual Rushcart Morris Dancing Festival stops here each August. Every year, the filming of the 1979 movie "Yanks" is remembered with 1940s-themed events. A warm welcome awaits locals and visitors alike. Perfect for families, walkers, dog owners, day trippers and cyclists.

In addition to the charming rooms on the ground floor with three open fires, the historic function room upstairs is available for parties, conferences, meetings, sing songs and general merrymaking.
