A great little pub recently extended to incorporate a stage area for live bands every other Saturday, and a full band Jam session/open mic every Thursday night. Acoustic acts every Friday, and Karaoke every other Saturday.
Landlord Max Bacon (former lead singer with 80's supergroup G.T.R)
welcomes everybody to his recently refurbished establishment.
There are live bands every Saturday which are becoming very popular as there is rarely no other entertainment on in the town on that night.
On Thursday nights there is a full band jam session /open mic where there is a big pa system,drum kit,guitar and bass amps so just bring you instrument and plug in.
There is a beer garden out the back in which Max will be holding outside festival type gigs on a covered stage in the summer(weather permitting)
All in all a potentially great venue for any band to perform.
