Old Towcestrians Rugby Club was founded in 1933 by 'Old Boys' of Towcester Grammar School (now Sponne School Technology College). In the following summer Old Towcestrians Cricket Club was formed and included many members from the rugby club.

The Hockey club joined in 1982 and played on a grass pitch till new Hockey rules forced them to play on artificial pitches in Northampton.

Our ladies Hockey section runs 3 senior teams as well as having a thriving junior section, benefiting from exclusive use of Northampton High School artificial pitch. We currently have teams in the Northamptonshire and Midland leagues catering for all standards of hockey and in the season 2012-2013 our over 35's team reached the final of the National Cup.

We also run three junior teams - Under 9's, Under 11's and Under 13's with a comprehensive Sunday tournament schedule from September to May!

We train every Thursday at NHS (NN4 6UU) at the following times:

Under 9's, 11's & 13s - 18:30 to 19:45

Development Squad (Under 18's or Back to Hockey Players) 18:30 to 19:45

Squad Training: Meet @ 19:15 for 19:30 start until 21:00
