We stock musical instruments, spares and accessories for Bands and School music, support local learners and provide a platform for local talent.

Underground Music started as a conversation between bandmates after a pretty high-energy gig. 'Why can't we spend more time on the music...?'

Well, that got me thinking. Why not? The idea wouldn't go away. Music had been such a big part of my life over the years - I'd made great friends, had a brilliant time and had so many different experiences that I would never have had without it.

The local area has a huge number of talented musicians and I want Underground Music to be able to service their requirements, as beginners and as they develop, providing instruments, set-ups, spares and accessories both on-line and in-store. Trying out an instrument is essential, so I want to the store to be as welcoming as possible for all ages and abilities.

I want Underground Music to be a community hub for musicians, putting them in touch with one another or help them find teachers.

Eventually, Underground Music will help by providing a context in which they can play. I want to be able to showcase local musicians through Social Media and through local events.
