Located in the North Pennines AONB, we sell Swaledale lamb direct from our farms in Upper Teesdale, delivered direct to our customers doors.

Upper Teesdale Lamb, a group of 7 farming families who sell
whole and half lambs over the internet. These are Swaledale lambs, a renowned hill breed in the North of England, sourced directly from group member’s farms in Upper Teesdale. The new season for Swaledale lambs runs from September until April. Upper Teesdale Lamb ensures that consistent quality is maintained at all times through careful selection, handling and processing.
A local abattoir and processing plant is used to prepare the lamb. By shortening the supply chain, the farming community becomes more sustainable.
Upper Teesdale Lamb is a community organisation with profits returned to the members and retained to finance future expansions. By developing a wide customer base across the UK the project connects people directly with the source of their lamb and increases knowledge and how and where it comes from.
