The Trust is a ‘not for profit’ housing association formed following the transfer of 7,250 homes, 2400 garages and 40 shops from Aylesbury Vale District Council in July 2006. With an annual turnover of £32million and 190 employees we aim to make a significant economic contribution within the Vale of Aylesbury.

As we celebrated our 5th anniversary (July 2011) our success over the last five years include:
• Investment of over £100 million in improving residents’ homes to above Decent Homes standard
• The start of the major regeneration initiatives for Walton Court and Vale House which will improve the community and address long-standing ASB and tenancy issues
• Installation of over 2,000 new bathrooms and nearly 3,000 new kitchens
• Installation of over 3,000 double glazing systems and more than 4,000 energy-efficient central heating systems.
• Investment of over £1.3million to improve the environment and security of our residents’ communities
• Working in partnership with AVDC, awarded grants totalling £1.75million to community groups and local good causes via the Community Chest
• Improved and increased the range of services we offer our residents, including 11+ coaching for residents’ children, and our Welfare Services Officer, who has secured residents over £500,000 in unclaimed benefits.

At the end of 2010, 100% of the Trust’s homes were Decent Homes Standard compliant, but our work does not stop there. The Trust will continue to grow and deliver excellent services to our customers for the next five years, and for many more years after that.
