Verde Sports was established in 1988 by the late John Hessey and his wife Nancy. John already had 20 years experience in the artificial sports surfaces industry, which enabled Verde to soon become market leaders in three specialist sports - golf, cricket and bowls.

Verde is now run by Niki Hessey, John's daughter, who has been with Verde since 1989. In the year 2000 she launched the concept of artificial grass for landscaping, lawns and leisure to the UK and Verde soon became market leaders in this field too. Currently celebrating their 29th year in business, Verde not only sell direct to private homes but also distribute worldwide via an extensive network of builders merchants, garden centres, landscapers and a diverse range of retail outlets.

Verde are based in the traditional manufacturing area of North West England and are a hands on, loyal and friendly team who are passionate about what we provide.

Verde stands out from their competitors by focusing on what their clients want and need. Now celebrating their 29th year in business, Verde believe that long term relationships with both distributors and private customers has strongly contributed to their success.
