Whatever their age and level, each dancer aims to “inhabit” their dance: to give themselves fully so that every step, every gesture, every breath and every look is consciously alive, and nothing is routine or mechanical. Through the challenges and joys of learning, we train ourselves to focus on recognising what we have liked and what progress we have made, and to transform what is negative into a positive. And always, "What is important is joy!"
