Friendly group of volunteers working together with schools, councils, residents, local groups & businesses to improve the green environment of the village.

Wellesbourne in Bloom is a friendly group of volunteers who work to improve the green environment of the village, creating wildlife and wildflower areas, injecting colour with year-round displays, watering floral units, weeding, bulb planting and general horticultural maintenance of shrubs.

We work with local businesses, schools, councils, local groups and residents to keep our village looking good and prepare for the annual Heart of England competition. Our aim is to bring communities together to improve our local environment making people proud of where they live.
WiB has enjoyed considerable success wining Gold award from the Heart of England competition.

Our aim:
• Continue landscape development of both annuals and sustainable planting, maintaining these areas throughout the year
• Link community groups with projects in Wellesbourne
• Bio-Diversity under the guidance of the Warwickshire Wildlife Trust
• Be proud of where we live
• Work closely with our local school, nursery, toddler groups and children's centre
• Enter the Heart of England Competition
• Have fun meeting new people
