The Club has been established at Hart Common in Westhoughton since 1978, and in that time has evolved into one of the premier Junior Football Clubs in the Bolton area.
In the FA's revamp of grassroots football they deemed it more productive and benifitial to a childs development that match results are not recorded and kept in league tables (up to Under 9s). However, after every match coaches text results to a league representative who monitors results on a weekly basis. The under 7s section of the Bolton & Bury League is split into 4 colours, each colour resembles diffrence in ability. When the representative receives the results he will assess them and if a team wins by a distinctive margin or lost heavily, he then has the power to move teams into a different colour league accordingly. This is to ensure that teams eventually fall into a catagory of playing teams of similar ability.
