We are arranging a Christmas Event on 27/11/16

We are a committee of local people who love Wickford and want to see the community spirit thrive particularly during the festive season. On Sunday 27th November, we will be hosting a Christmas Street Fair with fun and entertainment throughout the day from 12pm onwards in Wickford High Street and everyone is invited!

There will be Christmas stalls selling gifts, crafts, food and decorations amongst other things with free entertainment such as a Children’s Christmas workshop, local performers and face painting. Thanks to the Rotary Club a Christmas Tree will be sited in the Willowdale Centre, and various choirs will be performing throughout the day.

The key to enhancing the event and also to ensuring we have a light display in the High Street for years to come is fundraising. With this in mind we have applied for registered charity status and will keep you updated on this. There are many ideas on how to raise funds and we know you will give us your full support.
