Visit Wigtown on the fourth weekend in July for a celebration of seasonal produce from Scotland and the north of England. The Wigtown Food Festival serves up an annual feast of fantastic food and drink in a friendly atmosphere, amid the breath taking landscapes of south west Scotland.
Joining in the celebrations are a tasty choice of welcoming establishments, from a gem of a tearoom in Kirkcowan to a moreish Italian restaurant in Sorbie to the amazing Harbour Inn in Garlieston.
Naturally the businesses of Scotland’s National Book Town in our host town of Wigtown will be serving up a platter of delights, with some amazing home cooking, the best of teas and coffee and a menu of tempting events.
