Wisteria cottage is on a quiet lane close to the cobbled Haworth Main Street in Yorkshire. Recently renovated retaining many original Victorian features.

Wisteria Cottage is a stone-built, Victorian, end-terrace cottage on a quiet lane approximately 150 yards from the cobbled main street with shops, pubs and restaurants in Haworth, Yorkshire. A great central location, ideal for a family or group of friends to get together and really enjoy discovering the many delights of this historic and beautiful corner of the Yorkshire Dales.

Wisteria cottage has been fully renovated by to produce a first-class holiday home. The cottage is filled original features and character including stripped original doors and floors, Victorian plasterwork and fireplaces.

The entrance has stripped pine flooring and original decorative features throughout the hallway. The adjoining sitting room features a fireplace containing a welcoming woodburning stove, lovely furnishings and a stripped pine floor. Walk through to the rear dining room (seating for 6), with a feature fireplace with woodburning stove, an original York stone floor, original feature brick wall, creel and original stripped pine wall cupboards. The room also doubles up as a snug with a chaise and rocking chair for extra comfort, an ideal place to relax after a day out on the wild and rugged fells. From the dining area leads the well-equipped kitchen, which also has a storage area for bikes and hiking gear.

Upstairs, there are three bedrooms, the rear bedroom enjoying wonderful far-reaching views of the Worth Valley and features a king-size vintage pine bed and an original decorative fireplace. The second main bedroom features a super king-size bed, zip/link, so can be a twin room on request, thereby providing excellent flexibility, along with the third bedroom, which is a twin.

The main bathroom has a lovely relaxing bath and separate shower unit. The rear courtyard area has a patio with furniture, where you can relax with a refreshing drink or dine alfresco. The courtyard also has private off road parking.
It is an easy 3 min walk to the historic high street, steeped in literary history and formerly home to the Bronte sisters, Haworth has much to offer including traditional pubs, restaurants, old curiosity shops and cafes. An excellent variety of walks, both easy and strenuous, allow visitors to follow in the footsteps of Catherine and Heathcliff by wandering the fantastic rugged moorland. Skipton is nearby, with its cobbled streets and delightful castle, while further afield is the Victorian spa town of Harrogate. Our charming cottage is perfect for exploring all this lovely area has to offer.

Private off road parking for 1 car. Roadside parking directly in front of the cottage.

*Fuel, power and starter pack for stove inc. in rent. Additional fuel for stove available locally. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Travel cot (please provide your own cot linen) highchair and stairgate. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shops and pubs 3 mins walk. Note: Three steps down to the rear courtyard and care should be taken. Note: Main house steps are little steeper than standard.
