Woburn Bike Trails

A group of volunteers working in partnership with the land owners & estate managers to improve, manage & maintain permissive bike trails in Aspley Woods.

Steered by a small group of passionate mountain bikers who ride within Aspley Woods most days of the year and in all weathers, Woburn Bike Trails (WBT) has the backing of the Bedford Estates and Greensand Trust to help manage, maintain and improve the network of cycle trails within Aspley Woods and the surrounding areas.

From May 2014 WBT has been working hard with solo riders, small and large cycle groups, mountain biking clubs a range of others to promote safer cycling and to improve the experience of those cycling within the Woburn Sands/Aspley Woods area.

We've lots of ideas but we're keen to talk to as many groups/clubs and individuals as we need your input, help and support to make this a success. So please like this page, share it will anyone who rides within the area and make sure you turn notifications on so that you're up to date with whats happening.

Between this page and our new website we have tried to pull all of the available information about recycling in Aspley Woods into one (well I guess two!) places. As we have the full support of the land owners and state manager you can confident that what you see here or on the website is correct. If you see it elsewhere and it differs in any material way, please let us know as soon as possible and we'll aim to put it right.

Aspley Woods is a beautiful area of woodland and access is granted for use by walkers, dog owners, horse riders and cyclists through an Open Access Agreement between the land owners and local councils.

As guests, all users of the woods must respect the wishes of the landowners and estate managers or their representatives and for those of us that cycle within the area, it is particularly important that we behave correctly and in accordance with the agreement at all times.

It's early days for the WBT but we're working hard to communicate with and involve as many cycling/MTB clubs and groups as possible together with the hundreds of 'solo-riders' who use the woods regularly.

If you would like to get more involved with the WBT, becoming a volunteer is easy so visit our website and drop us a note: http//www.woburnbiketrails.co.uk/contact-us/
