Woolston Community High School has been at the heart of the local community since 1957. In 2010 the school was judged 'Good..with many outstanding features' by Osfted and was named as one of the top 40 schools in England for sustained improvement over 3 years by the Department for Education. The school closed on 31 August 2012.
