The Calf Pens is a self-catering cottage 1.5 miles outside of Masham, in the stunning and wild Yorkshire Dales, 100 meters from the beautiful River Ure.
Set in Lower Wensleydale, Herriot Country, and surrounded by rolling countryside, this charming two bedroomed cottage is accessed along a 3/4mile track. Sympathetically converted to a high standard, this is a peaceful and comfortable cottage, all on ground floor level. It has environmentally friendly ground source under-floor heating throughout. It is well equipped and tastefully furnished making it an excellent retreat for either a relaxing holiday or for exploring.
The cottage is available all year round; short bookings are sometimes available in the off season; there is ample parking; a cot and high chair available upon request. Non smokers only please. Sorry - no dogs.
The cottage is only 9 miles from the A1 and just under the hour from either Leeds Bradford Airport or Durham/Teesside Airport.
