Abergavenny Fire Station serves a diverse range of light and heavy industries, businesses and residential areas.
Abergavenny Fire Station comprises of approximately 24 retained crewmembers who operate 2 x Water ladders and 1 x Light pump unit 4x4.
Our operational Firefighters are highly trained to respond to a wide range of emergency calls, including fires, road traffic collisions, special rescues, chemical spills and floods. Abergavenny crewmembers are currently undertaking a trail set up in partnership with the Welsh Ambulance Trust, to respond to high priority medical calls along side regular Ambulance Crews.
Firefighters also spend time educating the public about fire and road safety by giving educational talks in schools, community groups and visiting individuals in their homes.
