All Saints is a small, lively and welcoming church with an all age congregation including active children's and youth work. We are a moderate evangelical church, but are open to other traditions within the Anglican communion.
All Saints is at the centre of the community of South Merstham. We have a range of family oriented services and a variety of groups for children from the ages of 3 to 18. There are also study groups, a Mothers' Union, Men’s and Ladies’ groups, a discussion group and a choir.
Many different events take place at Canada Hall next to the church. These include Canada Hall Cuppas on Friday Mornings, a Lunch Club, Rainbows, Brownies and Guides, the WI, a Guitar Club, the Merstham Horticultural Society, All Saints Sparklers (for young children) and a Pilates group. Canada Hall is available for private hire.
The Crossways is the widely read parish magazine, full of information concerning the church and community and with a range of interesting articles.
All Saints has strong links with Merstham Aid Project, a small local community charity that sponsors volunteers and provides support to humanitarian projects worldwide.
The church building was originally built at the end of the 19th century but destroyed, together with the vicarage, during WW2 as a result of enemy action. Canadian engineers built Canada Hall as a temporary church, giving the building its unique prairies architecture, from the rubble of the old church and the vicarage. A new church was built in the 1950s and Canada Hall became instead the church hall.
The Link Building connecting the church building and Canada Hall was completed in 2014 and is now in use.
