British Mountain Guides Community Rules

We love people getting involved in our Facebook page but occasionally people feel the need to post things they shouldn’t. We’d rather they didn’t, so we’ve written some rules and we’d like you to follow them.
As part of our commitment to you, we’ll do our best to ensure the postings on our page are in line with the British Mountain Guides (BMG) philosophies.
The British Mountain Guides expects users not to post content that falls into the following categories and reserves the right to remove postings from individuals, brands, groups, organisations and any other Facebook page that are:
• Abusive, defamatory or obscene
• Fraudulent, deceptive or misleading
• In violation of any intellectual property right of another
• In violation of any law or regulation (regardless of country).
• Spam, self-promotion or irrelevant
• In violation of Facebook’s Terms of Service
• Otherwise offensive
• Personal contact information such as email, phone numbers or home address
• Political or religious commentary
• Links without comment or justification for posting
Furthermore, in the event of repeat infringement we reserve the right to block/ban users from the page.
