Our CPCAB approved training centre and counselling practice in Coleshill, Birmingham, is close to the M6, M42 & A45, making it easy to reach from Coventry, Solihull, Sutton Coldfield, Tamworth, & Kingsbury, as well as most areas of Birmingham and the Midlands.

We offer a full range of counselling qualifications and Person Centred counselling and Supervision to individuals, organisations & trainees as well as specialist services to schools.

We also offer a range of CPD workshops/training days as well as room hire opportunities.

Our team of counsellors and trainers are all in practice in a broad variety of settings, bringing their practical experience and their ongoing professional development into their teaching and training roles. All counsellors and associate counsellors working for the service are accredited with, or members of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and work within the BACP Ethical Framework which can be viewed at www.bacp.co.uk


Another of the things we are particularly committed to is providing a safe, well held, and supportive training group.

For this reason we provide two tutors on all courses other than our 10week or Introductory courses. This provides a robust training environment, where learners benefit from two different teaching styles & the experience of two counselling practitioners. It also means that candidates are thoroughly assessed in terms of competence and a higher level of individual support is offered to each candidate.

Our counselling courses are awarded by CPCAB which is a UK awarding body that is managed by professional counsellors, trainers and supervisors. Now in its 21st year of operation, it is the only Awarding body in Europe to specialise in the field of counselling. It is one of the largest Awarding bodies in this field, with about 130 Recognised training centre across the UK (it also has some training centre in other countries) and around 11,000 candidates register with them annually.

All CPCAB qualifications were updated and revised to reflect the most recent research findings on the effectiveness of counselling, and to anticipate the proposed requirements of statutory regulation.
CPCAB provides a coherent and comprehensive progression route for counsellors and helpers who wish to use counselling and helping skills in their work. This enables candidates to stay with one nationally available system of qualifications throughout their training.

The courses offer a graduated pattern of professional training through which candidates can progress to their desired level of training.
