Exmouth Town Council consists of 25 Councillors representing electors from 5 wards – Brixington, Halsdon, Littleham, Withycombe and Town Ward.

Exmouth Town Council consists of 25 Councillors representing electors from 5 wards – Brixington, Halsdon, Littleham, Withycombe and Town Ward. The Full Council meets every six weeks but there are also three Committees which meet regularly to focus on particular aspects of the Council’s responsibilities:
•Planning Committee
•Finance Committee
•Regeneration and General Purposes Committee.

The Town Council and Committees also delegate smaller groups of Councillors to work with local people, businesses, community groups and other authorities to consider specific topics in various Working Parties:
•CCTV Working Party
•Christmas Lights Working Party
•Community Organisations Liaison Panel
•Exmouth Transport Partnership
•Flooding and Land Drainage Working Party
•Rights of Way Working Party
•Waterfront Working Party

Internally, the Council has the following standing committees:
•Accounts Sub Committee
•Festival and Events Working Party
•Gorfin Hall Management Committee
•HR Group
•Quality Council Working Party
•Trust Fund Working Party

The Council also nominates several Councillors to meet for one-off purposes in Task and Finish Forums. Recent examples include:

Our Office at the Town Hall is open 9:00am until 5:00pm Monday to Thursday with exception of Fridays when we are only open until 4:30pm.
