A fast, flat and scenic Half Marathon running event exploring views of the historic Hampton Court Palace and exquisite Kingston Riverside

The original Hampton Court Half Marathon is run over a fast, flat and visually interesting course that borders the river-side grounds of the magnificent Hampton Court Palace to the South West of London. Now in its fourth year we believe this race is a useful addition to the pre-Spring marathon training timetable as well as being an enjoyable event in its own right.

Runners will enjoy full views of the Hampton Court Palace, the historic Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames Marketplace, the picturesque village of Thames Ditton and the three mile stretch of the Barge Walk beside the Thames. The course runs on pavement, shared pedestrian/cycle track, riverside way, tarmac paths through parks and woodland trails. The race starts at 08.30 a.m. with a closed road section. The early start gives all entrants a clear run on the open public road elements.
