The farm consists of 256 hectares of arable land, 519 hectares of grassland, 267 hectares of moorland and 230 hectares of forestry

Since 2004 we have built up a herd of 85 Pedigree Galloway cows & 25 Belted Galloways. We also have 1250 North Country Mule ewes which are put to the Texel tup, and 1250 Swaledale and Blackface sheep that are put to the Blue-faced Leicester or Swaledale/ Blackface Tup.

We also have farming interests in Latvia, Lithuania & Estonia which includes the management of 40,000 acres of high quality arable land. We are currently establishing pilot beef suckler herds.

Hedgeley Farms strives to produce high quality beef and lamb with emphasis on first class management and genetics. We pride ourselves in our attention to detail and desire to produce the best we can, at the lowest unit cost and best return on capital.

We are members of the FABBL Farm Assurance Scheme for our beef and lamb and SQC for our arable crops.
