Welcome to Made-Well
Our service provides a wide range of constructive, purposeful and positive 'day opportunities' designed to promote personal growth by providing activities in leisure and learning life skills. We are an inclusive organisation with an ethos of actively encouraging full participation irrespective of age, background, qualifications, training or ability.
In 2010 Made-Well, a not for profit community Interest company was among the successful applicants to receive funding from the Lottery Local Food programme. This has enabled us to create a dedicated horticulture site along with training facilities and kitchen, a shop and a cafe. As a result local people gain a better understanding and appreciation of food, healthy lifestyles and opportunities to purchase affordable home grown food.

Our Activities and Sessions:
We run a wide range of daily sessions designed to provide purposeful, often practical and always positive experiences for all. Our inclusive approach really brings out the best in the people whom we support and we often see remarkable progress being made…we work hard to offer activities that are ‘personalised’, tailored to meet the different needs that individuals come to us with.
We support them to develop practical and social skills which in turn increases confidence, self esteem and ultimately quality of life. Whether it is going to market to sell vegetables, baking a cake or creating a work of art, we will provide the support needed for people to achieve their goals.
