in Biddenden near Ashford offers the opportunity for young people and adults with additional needs to engage in fully supervised farming related activities.
Users will have the opportunity to work together carrying out meaningful and therapeutic tasks on the farm. Learning to care for livestock, growing and caring for vegetables and flowers will emphasize the importance of healthy eating, hygiene and exercise.
Working as a group, the users will improve their social skills, tolerance of others and have an important role within the group and the farm environment. And most importantly meet new friends and have lots of fun!
Our animals include sheep, chickens, ponies and donkeys. Our flock of 20 ex-battery chickens, poly tunnel and vegetable gardens produce an abundance of eggs, vegetables and fruits which we sell at our weekly farm shop.
