Facebook safety tips
DON’T accept friend requests from people you don’t know DO create photo albums with privacy settings so only your friends can see them
DON’T ever agree to transfer money or exchange any bank details, or any other private personal information, with people you don’t know DO take advantage of the limited profile feature, showing only things like your profile picture, name, basic info and your friends list, but not your wall, interests, contact info or any photos not used as your profile picture.
DON’T share your password with anyone. DO report abusive content, inappropriate pages or fake imposter profiles to Facebook
DON’T post anything you wouldn’t want your family, teachers or employer to see. DO report any threats of violence or other inappropriate posts or images to Facebook AND to the proper real world authorities like school officials, parents and police.
DON’T leave your privacy settings as set. Control who sees what you post - learn about privacy settings, and review them often.
DON’T use Facebook to bully, harass, spread rumours, challenge fights or otherwise incite violence.
