Family church

St Mary's is a vibrant church in the broad Anglo Catholic tradition situated in the middle of Welwyn village and part of a Team Ministry of six churches.
We are an inclusive church with a ministry spanning all ages. We have a part-time youth worker and children are nurtured and cherished. We have a strong music tradition with a robed choir that sings an anthem each week (except August) and Welwyn Tune, our junior choir joins the adults at some services.
Our main Eucharist service is at 9.30 am on Sunday but there are many others, including a more interactive form of worship '40 Minutes' on the first Sunday of the month at 11.15.
We also have many church groups from walking to books to theatre to singing and many others in between.
