The original “Little Thatch” was built in 1351 and, as such, it is one of the oldest buildings in Gloucestershire. The bar is situated in the old original building, hence its name, and all the “Olde Worlde” charm has been retained.
Although a Hotel Bar, it remains a good old-fashioned Pub and is a relaxing and pleasant place to drink. A selection of Real Ales is available as well as the more usual drinks. Bar and Restaurant Meals are served here during lunchtimes and evenings.

The Hotel, of course, is a more recent addition to the premises and so has all the comforts expected in a modern hotel.
As it is adjoining the original building, it is unnecessary to go outside to visit the Bar or the Restaurant, a definite plus on rainy days, cold wintry nights and chilly mornings.
