Trios is a traditional tea shop bringing nostalgia through chintz design fabrics in relaxing colours and pretty floral tea sets to compliment the welcoming environment .
Offering a selection of traditional and speciality teas served in fine bone china tea cups, or in a mug if preferred.
A selection of delicious home made cakes, pastries and tempting desserts are available daily; also crumpets, toasted tea cakes or toast with preserves. Enjoy a light lunch, such as a toasted sandwich, salad, 'ploughman's' or 'soup of the day' .If you prefer a baguette or a wholemeal bap, or just a sandwich, you can choose from ham, turkey, tuna or cheese- all served with side salad and crisps. Afternoon Tea is available between 2.00 and 4.00, but booking is necessary. Alternatively fresh scones with jam and cream are always available . Traditional drinks, such as Victorian Lemonade, Dandelion and Burdock and Ginger Beer add a nostalgic touch.
In addition a selection of drinks, sandwiches, baguettes, rolls, soup, pastries and cakes are available to take away.
Trios opened on 1st October and is an ideal place to meet up with friends, relax and catch up, over a nice cup of tea. Trios has a vintage feel but with a modern twist.
