Annual youth drama festival, with junior and senior (under age 22) sections, held at the Barn Theatre in Welwyn Garden City. GoDA adjudicated with awards.
The 71st (2015) Festival dates are 2 to 7 March. The week-long annual drama festival, taking place at the Barn Theatre situated in Handside Lane, Welwyn Garden City, attracts around 250 young people from Hertfordshire and its adjoining counties, competing for the cups awarded for junior and senior sections. Entries to the Youth Drama Festival are welcome from schools, drama clubs, in fact any group participating in youth drama.
Tickets are available through the Barn website at £6 each with a reduced price of £5 each for groups of 6 or more.
They can be obtained from the Barn Box Office 01707 324300 open from 10am to 6pm Monday to Saturday; also on any show/festival night from 7.00pm to 8.30pm at the Barn.
