Weston Town Council is the civil "parish" council for Weston. The 31 councillors are elected exclusively by the people of Weston and work for the town.
Weston Town Council is the only democratically elected body exclusively representing the civil "parish" and people of Weston-Super-Mare, including Worle and Uphill. There are 31 councillors elected every 4 years who take no allowances, as well as a small number of employed staff to implement their decisions. The Council is entirely independent of North Somerset Council and raises its own budget to spend on services and facilities that the people of Weston want. Please see our website www.wsm-tc.gov.uk for more information.
We provide many services to the town including the Blakehay Theatre, Weston Museum, the Water Park, 2 Skate Parks, 6 Public Toilets, 19 Play Areas, bus shelters, dog bins etc. We also lobby other public authorities on things which affect the town.
