Wincanton Fire Station is crewed by On Call firefighters, responding from work & homes across the town. Our average turn out time in 2013 was 4.3 minutes.

Wincanton Fire Station is located at entrance to Bennets Field industrial estate and covers the town of Wincanton and its surrounding villages in the Blackmore Vale . It covers an area of approximately 60 square miles and has a population of almost 9661 people.

The Station is crewed by on-call Firefighters crews live and have full time employment elsewhere within the town.
Each Firefighter is notified of an emergency call by a pager which he/she carries whilst on duty. The average turnout time for an emergency call is under 4 minutes
